projects

humans of southern

A class project for my Digital Storytelling class was to film a story about a student at Southern who has a unique hobby or talent. I filmed a friend of mine named Ethan who is a brilliant pianist.

enactus h.t.m.l.

Enactus is the club for the School of Business at my college. It involves student led projects that are meant to allow business students to put their education into practice with business-like projects they create. One of the projects is H.T.M.L. which teaches middle school aged girls about computer science and empower them as future women in STEM. I was the Public Relations director for the project so I managed networking with local elementary and middle schools as well as creating their advertising portfolio.

Giving Day

Event planning and promotion

Giving Day is the celebration of philanthropy at Southern Adventist University. It is a two day event in which students, alumni, staff, and the community can give back to academic departments, clubs, scholarships, or associated charity organizations. In those two days events are held to encourage students to get involved in the event. I coordinated the promotional designs as well as the event in one of the campus buildings which allowed students to direct donor’s funds to any charity.
